IEEE CloudCom app for iPhone and iPad

Elevate your experience attending the conference with the official app for the IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing Technology and Science (CloudCom). Whether or not you may be attending the conference in person, the CloudCom app is designed to serve your needs by providing you the information whenever you need it. It is designed to be easy to use, convenient, and fast. It has no social networking features built in, and wont compromise your privacy.

The app will allow you to:

* Access the entire schedule of the conference

* Add a talk to your favorites, by swiping it to the left

* Review more details about any of the talks

* Search through the entire technical program, by searching in session titles, talk titles, or author (speaker) names

* As-you-type search with search results updating in real-time

* Limit the scope of your search queries to the main program or workshops only

* Browse through a subset of sessions by selecting specific locations as filters

Ever wished for a reminder before an interesting talk? In addition to the features above, you can also schedule reminder notifications for up to 64 talks in the conference. When a reminder arrives, you may swipe it to the left in the Notification Center or the lock screen, and press "Snooze" to reschedule it to five minutes later.

As a unique highlight, the app makes recommendations of similar talks based on your favorite talks in the main conference program. Recommendations are computed without connecting to the network, and they are based on full-text similarity evaluations using Latent Semantic Indexing.

The app includes maps of the conference venue, so that you can navigate to the rooms of your favourite talks. If you allow notifications, whenever there is a piece of late-breaking news about the conference, you will be among the first to know.

Since conference venues often have poor Internet connections, the app works completely offline without connecting to the network, including showing and searching through the entire schedule, and recommending similar talks. Whenever there are new updates to sessions, talks, and breaking news, the app will be silently notified via push notifications, and it will be able to automatically download these updates in the background.

We respect your privacy: your favorites will never leave your iPhone and will not be synchronized to the cloud. You do not need to log in to any social networking website in order to use the app. It is simple, private, and fast to use.
